WHY I WALK

“When asked why I walk with Team Tara, I answer with the question, why not. It is a blessing to be part of a team whose purpose is to conquer cancer. Most of us have lost someone to this relentless disease. My sweet father, my hero, passed soon after I gave birth to my second child. I think of him every day, and I marvel at the courage and positivity he portrayed fighting for his life. Tara's and Amy’s positivity, energy and endless ideas set the pace for this amazing group. They have HOPE and they make us feel like anything is possible - I totally agree.”
