WHY I WALK

“I walk the Jimmy Fund Walk as part of Team Tara in memory of patients whom I have lost, and in honor of current patients whom I am trying to help live as long as possible and with as much quality of life as possible. It is one of my favorite days of the year, because it restores my faith in the good of humanity when I see so many people uniting together selflessly toward a common goal. Nothing inspires me more to keep plugging away at the research, and to keep putting in the long hours, than being a member of Team Tara, because the hope of a world where metastatic cancer can be cured is only possible when we walk together.”
