Barbara Barrett

Anyone who knows Barb knows that she is a force for pure good. Barb has been walking with Team Tara since the team’s inception and her energy only builds over the years. Barb’s creativity has been such a gift to our team as she has raised money through several unique efforts over the years. In 2020 Barb partnered with another team member (Tina Seaman) and they organized an amazing event (“Country Kicks Cancer”) that raised thousands for Team Tara.

After supporting Dr. Kimmie Ng’s work for colorectal cancer patients, Barb herself became a patient of Dr. Ng. In 2018, Barb fought off her own cancer with grace and gratitude. We are so lucky to have Barb on our team and we are beyond excited to honor her as a 2021 Walk Hero!
